Inventronics, based in Hangzhou, China launched a new programmable IP20 LED driver series. According to the company, the new dimming LED driver is apt for indoor projects including troffers, panels, downlights and other fixtures that require a compact driver and a lower profile.
The latest LUG-040SxxxDTE driver amplifies the company’s existing low- power, indoor programmable LED driver portfolio. The drivers provide full power at almost any output current ranging from 800-1500mA and from 40W down to 28W. The new features render flicker-free, smooth dimming to 10%. They also have a tight tolerance in the low dimming range.
The new driver has UL Class P certification. UL Class P Certification defines testing and evaluation guidelines for standardized LED driver constructions and ratings. UL says this certification lets luminaire manufacturers’ source alternate LED drivers without having to recertify their products. The driver is also Class 2 recognized which increases safety while reducing materials cost.
It comes in a compact form factor and features color-coded terminals. The LUG-040SxxxDTE drivers operate over a 90-305Vac/127-250Vdc input voltage and are approved to UL, FCC, CE and Class P. According to Inventronics, these certifications allow the new drivers to be used in many countries around the world.
When operating at an 80% load with a case temperature of 70˚C, the drivers have a projected lifetime of at least 100,000 hours. They are now available in the market.
