UL verification certifies that a scientific assessment of the products in concern has been made and confirms the accuracy of marketing claims. The verification service was created to cut down on commercial and residential energy consumption, for reduced-flicker lighting, as well as to address the increasing market demand for third-party verified flicker results. The verification process includes various tests that measures frequencies of flicker; whether flashing or blinking, higher frequency flicker and invisible flicker.
