The Shantou Jiaxing Building is the first CBD symbolic building in eastern Guangdong and comprises of leisure, entertainment, shopping and commerce serviced apartments. Now it’s taken on a new digital avatar with a massive 1855m2 Gtek outdoor full color curved LED display installed around the façade.
Client brief
The client insisted for a display which would fit right around the curve-shaped building and have excellent light transmittance.
Solution and execution
Gtek chose to use the Bri-Curtain H series H16 which fulfills the client’s requirements for both flexibility and transparency. With Shantou also prone to typhoon attacks, the Bri-Curtain H16 became the obvious choice since its other features: low-energy, light-weight, less wind-resistance and IP67, perfectly enable it to withstand bad weather conditions. In addition, the LED strips were installed in a vertical arrangement to per-fectly realize a smooth curved display.
Result
With an area of 1855m2, the project has become the largest outdoor LED display in Southern China. The full color curved LED display is expected to boost consumption development and increase businesses value.
