iGuzzini presents Trick eᵐ, creator of suggestion and revelation. Small and compact, it unleashes a light in motion, travelling across spaces with delicate strokes to reveal architectural curves and details.
The Trick series designed by Dean Skira was created to be flexible and creative, living up to the artistic and architectural spirit of the project. Different lighting effects – blades of light, radial light, and washer – can be modulated into graphic lighting effects, in volumes of light and darkness and geometries of all light textures.
In its evolution eᵐ , where “em” stands for “emotion in motion”, this miniaturized and revolutionary tool manages to reveal any architecture by gently traversing it with strokes of light that emphasize curves and details, adapting to the space and disappearing into it.
Three types of bases ensure flexible installation of Trick eᵐ, with axial rotation and tilt for optimal light flow direction even on inclined surfaces, for indoor and outdoor applications.
It offers new optics divided into ten autonomous and multifunctional segments with 360° movement. A multi-projector beam lends expression to the architecture in dramatic volumes and maximises the expressive freedom of the lighting design. This technology is designed for flexibility and inspired by professional DMXs but built into a compact, discrete module with great performance. Trick eᵐ makes the architecture dance in a controlled, deliberate manner.
There are eight preset lighting scenarios that allow for the creation of different scenes with the simplicity of a plug-and-play system, making Trick eᵐ the optimal solution for lighting even entire facades and urban spaces. In addition, the system, managed via DMX, has the ability to communicate with a central system through ArtNet and supports the SPI protocol, allowing the integration and management of other lighting systems.
