Recently, F&V light has introduced high-quality LED, the Z1200VC which is also very attractive. The light can deliver a colour temperature range from 2800-6500K in White Light mode or a wider 2400-9900K in an extended Kelvin Mode. It features a TLCI (Television Lighting Consistency Index) of up to 99 and is dimmable from 0-100 percent.
The light is calibrated on the factory end to be consistent from fixture to fixture, but is also designed to be recalibrated by end-users if they spot a colour shift. Due to the tint controls present in the light, users can adjust green and magenta tints so that it can colour match the light to other fixtures.
There is also a filter mode that lets over 300 colour and correction filters, effectively looking for a gel without having to physically adhere to one. Moreover, if users are looking for pleasing effects, Z1200VC can mimic a candle, fireworks, a cop car, lightning and more.
It shines a beam angle of 130-degrees through its 1 x 3-foot diffusion panel. The Z1200VC uses a passive cooling system so the whirl of the cooling fan cannot be heard during filming. It consumes 270W of power at maximum and delivers 5,700 Lux at 1 meter at 5600K.
