Philips LED top lighting was installed which rendered a decrease in their energy costs as well as money saving improvements in crop growth. Row of five to ten lights can be controlled at one time by turning off portions of the greenhouse while the crop expands and contracts. The customization of light required by crop can be done by having a number of lights on individual switches.
