Dynamically illuminated printed eBanners do not only attract attention but also engage audience through interactive modules.
Captiva Innovations, a subsidiary of TF Massif, has unveiled its paper-thin interactive Printed Electronics’ LED signage solutions for retail at an event in Chicago. Captiva, which claims to be the world’s first technology solution provider, allows printing partners to produce illuminated, smart and flexible eBanners in-house, using existing manufacturing platforms.
Captiva claims that its dynamically illuminated printed eBanners do not only attract attention and draw in audiences, but also engage them through interactive modules to increase brand awareness, loyalty and ultimately drive sales.
The flexible LEDeBanner can be customised in almost any size and shape, lending itself to a variety of truly unique retail applications, including being hung off ceilings, applied to curved surfaces, integrated into retail End Caps and POS displays, or even retrofitted into retractable banner stands to create eye-catching pop-up stores.
Captiva also powers digitisation of customer experience through interactive modules that can be integrated to push or pull data, as well as engage audience through touch and sounds, creating truly memorable experiences for end-users and more personalised customer engagement abilities for vendors.
Illuminated eBanners are designed to be powered by either a USB power bank or a wall outlet. This means that the eBanners can be displayed and illuminated virtually anywhere whether suspended, attached to a display booth header, stand, or curved surface, imagination is the only limit.
What’s more, these eBannersare paper-thin & lightweight, enabling easy roll-out for shipping and storage purpose thereby bringing substantial cost and space savings. To install, one needs to simply unroll the banners and turn them on.
Graphics are printed onto the flexible electronic material which meant for the purpose and an array of micro LED light circuits are embedded in precise locations that can be programmed to illuminate in any colour to create dynamic moving patterns and intensely vibrant visual effects.
Light patterns, colours and timing can be pre-set or programmed by end-users through their mobile devices to create eye catching effects. To engage further, interactive modules can be added such as Near Field Communication (NFC) as well as various sensors.
These eBanners can be used in various forms, while possibilities of their usageare endless. They can be used as Interactive Pop-up eBanners in stores, casinos, theatres, malls, hotels; eGraphics for sales presentation centres; eWallpaper for corporate offices, airports, subways; directional signage with sensors and NFC; Pop-up ePosters and eBanners for rewards redemption or to recharge gift cards.
