Light Tape employs a radically distinctive and patent-protected type of electroluminescent technology. How It Works?
The patented Light Tape employs electroluminescent (EL) technology. It illuminates constantly over an entire surface area and offers a bend radius that wraps around even the little finger. It contains neither glass nor gas, and generates no heat. When compared with other EL technologies, Light Tape is over 2.5 times brighter at the same current, which ultimately translates in to longer commercial life time.

“It’s a product from a US-based company. We have taken the franchisee for India. This is no LED, but a phosphorous-based chemical called electroluminescent. It comes with special driver that has been designed specifically for this lighting system. It is available in a range of width starting from 0.25 inch and goes up to a meter. I currently have tapes with a maximum width of 13-inches. It is heat-proof, dust-proof, water-resistant, and spotless for smooth illumination without any fudge. It’s a kind of decorative light that can be applied anywhere and can take any shape owing to its flexibility, just like tape,” says Lucky Sharma, Team Head, Light Tape, India.
