Laster Tech sure did grab some attention across the industry when it recently announced its decision to enter the High Class Automotive LED market. The company was recently listed on the Taiwanese bourse as one of the top companies to have achieved excellent revenue growth in its first three quarters, a stark contrast to the market situation where most companies were incurring losses. Laster Tech mainly specialized in making exterior lighting, such as taillights, direction lights, headlights etc. and catered to mostly Chinese automakers, top carmaker Great Wall Motors, Shanghai Koito Automotive Lamp, Guangzhou Koito and BYD.
Laster Tech also acquired Italian automotive lighting manufacturer OLSA and entered Benz automotive supply chain. It has specialized in manufacturing featuring direction lights, fog lights, and daylight running lamps.
The company has planned the bold move to enter Automotive LED lighting market with the aim to tap its forecasted growth of 60 to 70% by 2020.
