The Uljanik shipyard in Pula bay, Croatia dominates the skyline with 8 massive cranes. Light-ing designer Dean Skira gave it a new large-scale light feature, illuminating the cranes with 73 Philips ColorReach Powercore gen2 LED floodlights. Each light consists of 64 pieces of LED chips that can be programed 16,000 different variations of color and intensity. The new large-scale light feature adds the vertical axis to the luminous sea horizon, creating a dynamic sculpture in the night landscape.
