LEDs have revolutionized how the lighting is perceived today. With a wide range of applications, LED lighting is transforming structures into a visual treat. The multiple benefits of LEDs over conventional lighting are also adding onto the rise in their implementation all across the globe. The most recent can be seen in Planet 13, the world’s largest cannabis dispensary which opened in Las Vegas. The dispensary boasts an entertainment complex where customers can do things like interactive laser graffiti.
At 112,000 square feet it is a largest cannabis dispensary. The 24-hour dispensary, which accounts for 15,000 square feet of the space, will sell Planet 13-branded medical and recreational cannabis products, like capsules, vapes and more.
Beyond selling marijuana products, the attached distillery offers interactive and visual experiences for visitors, like synchronized 3D projections on the lobby walls and walkways lit with sensory activated LED lights, as a result a trail of colored lights follows visitors as they walk.
Also at the entrance the there are 13, 15-foot LED lotus flowers that can be controlled by visitors as interactive art pieces, according to reports. Guests can also do laser graffiti by drawing with “spray cans” that shoot laser beams onto a wall. Around 2,000 people visit the place every day who witness the visual extravaganza offered by the eclectic mix of LEDs.
