Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) formerly known as Victoria Terminus is a historic railway station and a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India which serves as the headquarters of the Central Railways. It is one of the most famous and popular landmarks of the city. With its beautiful architecture and historical significance it is definitely a head turner. This Republic day, Chhatrapati Shaivaji Terminus railway station lit up in Tricolour on the eve to mark 69th Republic Day of the country.
Victoria Terminus heritage building was illuminated in Tricolour with RGB colour changing LED lights which are controlled by software. White light can be formed by mixing differently colored lights; the most common method is to use red, green, and blue (RGB). Hence the method is called multicolor white LEDs (sometimes referred to as RGB LEDs). The popular architecture in Mumbai always lights up to mark several occasions and celebrations. Many people gathered around the monument to click photographs. The building lit in tricolor by LED lighting, not only enhanced its beauty however also instigated nationalism in all the people who witnessed it.
