San Diego Convention Center is certainly going to be the next nighttime landmark as the events complex debuted new coloured LED lights that illuminate the recently renovated Sails Pavilion’s fabric roof. The $377,000 lights are the same fixtures as those used in the Empire State Building. The lights are dynamic and change colours which can be seen from downtown, Coronado Bay and are very much visible from the air.
