Aiming to create a world record in Smart Street Lighting Project, AP Government has directed its officials to launch Alert Management System (AMS), to provide a delivery mechanism with global standards to deal with any complaint related to LED streetlights in all Gram Panchayats in Andhra Pradesh.
One-of-its-kind in the country, Andhra Government is going to initiate quick and efficient complaint handling software like the AMS. The AMS is created to provide the best quality services to people with the highest level of satisfaction.
According to officials, the AMS will ensure accountability among concerned government departments and create confidence among the general public that their complaints are considered effectively and resolved in the fixed time.
The Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu held a teleconference with officials of Energy and Rural Development departments on the progress of flagship programmes, said the State had already created a national record in LED street lighting project and that now the Energy and Panchayat Raj Department should aim at achieving a world record. “The Gram Panchayat LED street lighting project will become the best large-scale rural LED programme in the world,” he said.
Expressing his joy over the information that the first phase of LED street lighting project was almost completed, the Chief Minister has directed its officials to complete the entire project by December.
CM in his statement said, “The government’s utmost priority is people’s satisfaction. Take feedback from gram panchayats and strive hard to ensure 100 percent satisfaction levels over the LED streetlight project.” Several higher officials were also present.
