Allianz Arena is a football stadium in Munich, Germany, which was illuminated in beautiful red colour to symbolise the Bayern Munich’s 3-0 victory over Red Star in the Champions League. The interior of the Allianz Arena was lit brightly in an even more vibrant FC Bayern red due to the new decorative LED lighting installed by the Zumtobel Group. In the first phase of this project, the inner ring on the roof was fitted with LED strips, which has a circumference of 370 meters (1,214 feet). Moreover, the strips are not just relegated to red and can change to different colours if needed.
