Like every year, Belkin’s WeMo brand is going to introduce to the market its new range of LED products, all featuring the solution to flickering of LED lights. The very first product from the series is going to be the Dimmer which is as claimed by the company is a better version of ubiquitous light switch dimmers and promises to calibrate the circuitry for every light, avoiding the eye-crushing flickering often seen when combining LED bulbs with dimmer switches. The dimmer is also compatible with a number of smart home services, including IFTTT, Alexa, Google Home and others. Though the dimmer switch is not a new product and has been introduced by famous brands in the market before, WeMo’s dimmer has the potential to change the game for all other smart dimmer switches in the market. This is because of the extra benefits users get in this product like options that allow individual calibration, choice to use CFL or LED bulbs and also the advantages of using regular smart dimmer and light switch. Noise reduction quotient in this new product is highest and you wouldn’t be irritated by that constant buzzing noise caused by other dimmers in the market. Also, not to forget, you have total control of lighting to yourself. After the Dimmer, WeMo is going to launch the Mini Plug that connects to a home wi-fi network and allows wireless control of anything attached to it, from music system, fans, TV, to coffee machines and lights.
