Thorn Lighting has given City, University of London which is a public research university a lighting makeover. The renovation has resulted in a stylish installation, with high performance, low maintenance and high energy savings. The work was carried out in collaboration with Halsion Building Services Engineers which has resulted in an eye-catching, modern installation that works in harmony with the new, refreshed facility. Equaline Linear LED luminaires from Thorn lighting light up the main areas of the building. The blend of beautiful design and good glare control has created a warm environment for the student and teachers passing through the buildings. Equaline offers flexible mounting possibilities and the architects opted for recessed, surface mounted and suspended versions for the University.
