NTL Lemnis bags ‘India’s Greatest Brands & Leaders 2015-16’ Award

NTL Lemnis and its global LED lighting brand, Pharox got felicitated with India’s Greatest Brands & Leaders 2015-16 award in the consumer electronics category by URS International, one of India’s leading media & research services organizations. Research for the awards was undertaken by United Research Services International, while PwC were the process reviewers.

The award so conferred upon NTL Lemnis, in a glittering ceremony in Mumbai, was received by Tushar Gupta, the company’s Executive Director; and was given away by Shree Alok Kumar Mehta, Minister–Cooperative Department, Government of Bihar in the presence of over 300 business leaders, corporate honchos and distinguished guests from India Inc.

NTL Lemnis is one of India’s leading companies that designs, manufactures and markets energy-efficient LED lighting solutions to its Indian as well as global customers under the global brand ‘Pharox’. While Lemnis Lighting is credited with creating the first LED lamp in the world, NTL manufactured the first LED lamp in India for Lemnis Lighting in 2009. Today, Pharox has national visibility owing to its strong retail initiatives. It has also partnered with the Government and has already provided 150 Mn LED lamps to EESL.

Speaking on the occasion, Tushar Gupta said, “The Pharox journey began in Europe and today it has emerged as one of the most well thought of brands across India, Europe and South Africa.” Further, expressing his gratitude to the highly passionate team at NTL, its suppliers and various stake holders, he adds that this is the reward of the unwavering support and hard work of team NTL.
