Crystal Universe, an artwork at the ArtScience Museum, uses 170,000 LED lights, which together give the illusion of stars moving in space. Viewers can enter and walk around in the three-dimensional light space and can cause changes in it wherever they are in the installation. They can also bring about change to the Crystal Universe through access from a smartphone. They merely select a universe element, face the Crystal Universe and swipe toward the installa-tion to add the selected element to the artwork.
